Lookman...Wants out at Atalanta

Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman and his Italian club Atalanta are at loggerheads after he dropped a transfer request.
Atalanta said Monday he could only leave if a big European club from outside Italy were to sign him, a situation, which is mostly unlikely and Lookman is fuming.
Last week Atalanta blocked a move to Inter Milan after Lookman has agreed terms, it was the same with Paris St Germain last season when he was set to leave, but the Bergamo club pulled the plug on the deal. Antonio Percassi who is Atalanta CEO, said it is the club that would decide when Lookman leaves.
“Atalanta, being a credible club, had promised to sell the player this window based on two conditions that he himself had asked of us: First, to go to a super, top European club, and that he would never be seen in Italy wearing a shirt other than Atalanta’s, given what he did for the club and what he received from the club.
“Today, as you know, the situation is very different. The club is always careful when evaluating the value and timing of its players, but as always, it is Atalanta, the club, that decides,” Percassi said.
