Former Lagos State governor and Minister of Works Babatunde Raji Fashola (BRF) has confirmed his participation at the book launch of veteran sports journalist and scholar Mumuni Alao.
Dr. Alao in the autobiography walks readers through his journey in sports journalism and his mentorship of colleagues as an editor and later the managing director of Complete Communications. Dr Alao is regarded as one of Nigeria’s finest sports journalists; he has covered many FIFA World Cups and the Olympics Games.
Hon. Fashola who is an avid sports enthusiast will deliver a talk titled:” RETHINKING THE CURRENT FOOTBALL BUSINESS MODEL IN NIGERIA AS A CATALYST FOR SPORTS DEVELOPMENT.”
The event is billed for Sunday August 10, 2025 at Tayo Adenirokun Hall, University of Lagos, Akoka Lagos.
“I’m sure this topic will be of interest to all of us stakeholders in Nigerian football. I look forward to receiving you at the event,” Dr Alao Stated.
