Once again, a Dangote Industry truck has been involved in an accident, which left three people dead in Auchi, Edo State.
The accident happened Sunday in front of the Omega Fire Ministries Church in Auchi, when the Dangote truck lost control and rammed into a passenger car, three people died on the spot, while others were rescued from the wreck and rushed to the hospital.
This is coming barely a week after a Dangote Truck smashed into a motorbike carrying Ruth Otabor a sister to Reality TV star Phyna Otabor. She lost a leg and remains in danger list at the Irua Specialist Hospital.
According to social activist Martin Otse a.k.a VDM the driver of the truck was without a driving license just like the driver involved in the first incident last Tuesday.
VDM threatened that Dangote trucks would be forced off the Auchi road if the company does not take action to stop the incessant killing of motorists by out-of-control truck drivers who are hardly trained to handle the vehicle they are driving.
A video of the car wreck he shared on his Facebook page shows three lifeless bodies lying on the ground, while sympathisers use their bare hands to untangle twisted metal to rescue an individual trapped in the vehicle.
“When is the government going to take action against Dangote vehicles killing people every day.
“If Dangote does do anything about these deaths by his trucks, we wouldn’t allow them to pass through Auchi roads again.”
Meanwhile founder of the Omega Fire Ministries Apostle Suleman Johnson has slammed Dangote for employing ill-trained and drug influenced drivers. He posted on his social media account
He wrote, “@aliko_dangotegcon, you are not the only rich man on earth. Your recklessness in managing your business has caused harm to families and made parents childless. Your truck just killed 3 people a few minutes ago in Auchi. You give trucks to little boys who are high on drugs and untrained. This won’t go unchallenged”
Mangled... Dangote trucks wreaking havoc.
