Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface could join Italian side AC Milan on a loan move with a buyout option.
Boniface who has not featured in any of Bayer Leverkusen’s game this season is keen to join Milan and has held talks the Massimo Allegri managed side.
Reports in Italy indicate that Bayer Leverkusen and Milan are close to an agree for Boniface for a loan move with a €30m buyout option.
Boniface joined Bayer Leverkusen from Union Saint-Gilloise for €22.6m in the summer of 2023. Despite numerous injury problems, Boniface still managed to score 11 goals and provide two assists in 27 competitive games for Bayer Leverkusen last season.
Boniface, who was a key figure for Leverkusen double in Germany in the 2024 season, apart from his struggles, Leverkusen coach Erik ten Hag has made Patrik Schick his first option in attack and has no qualms with Boniface leaving.
