South Africa’s Bafana Bafana have major injury concerns ahead of their FIFA World Cup qualifiers fixtures against Lesotho and Nigeria.
Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos is now faced with a major shake up of his team as key players in the defence and midfield have been ruled out with injuries. This has raised concern about how prepared the team would be when they face Lesotho and later a crucial match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
According to reports by the South Africa media Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker Themba Zwane is injured and is unlikely to play those key fixtures. Without Mshishi, Bafana could lose valuable attacking flair and experience. Broos could play either Patrick Maswanganyi or Relebohile Mofokeng in Zwane’s position.
