A tout has been lynched and set ablaze by an angry Abuja mob after he caused the death of a man, his wife and two kids
The accident occurred Wednesday when the man stopped near Berger Roundabout in Wuse to pick up a relative, according to Vanguard reports, the touts operating in that area pounced on him and the situation quickly escalated.
One of the touts jumped into the moving family car and was dragging the steering wheel with the driver, and in the process the man lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the pillar of a flyover bridge at Mabushi. The family of four died on the spot.
Enraged by the action of the three touts, residents of the area chased them down, lynched them, the tout who jumped into the car according to an eyewitness account was set ablaze.
