US rapper and music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs tearfully apologised to his mother and victims of his rage after being served a 4 year jail sentence on prostitution charges.
Diddy sat emotionless, as Judge Arun Subramanian delivered judgement and letting Diddy know he will spend 50 months in prison and pay a $500,000 fine on Friday.
“I can’t change the past, but I can change the future.
“My actions were disgusting, shameful and sick. I was sick from the drugs. I was out of control. I needed help, and I didn’t get the help,” Diddy said referring to his victims especially Cassie Ventura.
“I have been humbled and broken to my core. I hate myself right now. I’ve been stripped down to nothing,” he added.
Combs broke down in tears as he addressed his mother, Janice Combs, who was seated in the courtroom. “You taught me better,” he said. “You raised me better.”
