Nigerian music diva Tiwa Savage has denied blocking any African female artists from achieving success in the music business.
Speaking during recently on the ‘Offair’ podcast, Tiwa Savage stated that those accusing her of blocking them are not being truthful. Kenyan singer Victoria Kimani had spoken out against Tiwa Savage in recent times.
“If you’ve heard from anybody that I tried to block your bag, mention names. Maybe the promoters are lying and using me, maybe they don’t want to book three, four girls. So, they claim I am the one blocking others,” Savage said.
Meanwhile, Tiwa Savage, maintained that Nigerians and the music industry do not give her the desired respect despite her contributions to the growth of music in the continent.
“No. I’m sorry, I don’t,” said Tiwa Savage when she was asked if she had gotten her flowers from the music industry.
