Super Falcons star player Michelle Alozie took a note of the poor enviroment the African Champions had to contend with in the first leg of the Women African Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic.
The team arrived in Lome on Wednesday and they were lodged in a hotel situated in a run down area of the Togolese capital. The girls were seen in videos walking through ghettos to get the training ground.
“We asked for a training camp, but CAF gave us a full village tourism experience. At this point, the next stop is learning how to fetch water from the stream. With this environment, I might start planting corn and casava very soon.
“If we survive this camp, forget football…we can survive anywhere.” Alozie posted on her Facebook social media page.
