How to stop Galatasaray and Victor Osimhen is a major concern for Ajax coach John Heitinga ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash at the Johan Cryuff Arena in Amsterdam.
Osimhen is in good scoring form with three goals from two matches against Liverpool and Bodo Glimt. And he is working to see Galatasaray go far in the UCL.
“Osimhen is a great striker. He’s smart, strong, and fast; you have to be smart about that. He’s a pretty complete player,” Heitinga said.
“I do consider him one of the better strikers at the moment. There are few players as fast as him,” Hetinga said.
He added that Ajax will come up with a plan to stop the Super Eagles striker as they aim to win their first UCL match of the season.
“I hope we’ll have more control on the ball and that’s what I see in training, I’ll see in the match tomorrow. We’ll do everything we can to neutralize him.”
