Afrobeats super star Damini Ogulu a.k.a Burna Boy shocked fans Wednesday night at his concert in Denver, USA when expelled a couple sleeping in front of him while he sang.
Burna Boy who was performing brought the show to halt on noticing a man and his girlfriend sleeping off. He insisted they leave the venue or he wouldn’t sing another song.
“When I stand up here [on the stage] and see you over there with your girl sleeping in the front of me, it pisses me the f**k up. So, please, take her the f**k home… Walahi I’m not performing another song till you go home,” Burna Boy thundered angrily on the mic.
Being ticket holders, the couple were adamant but were goaded into leaving the venue by other Burna Boy fans who wanted their man to continue with the show. Burna Boy resumed his performance after the couple left the concert.
Burna Boy has a history of altercations with fans at his concerts. During a concert in Lagos, he kicked a fan who had come on stage to behold his idol. He also once asked a fan to leave his concert for not dancing while he was performing.
