The peace of travelers on a United Nigeria Airline flight from Asaba to Lagos was shattered Monday after Martins Otse a.k.a VeryDarkMan and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi a.k.a Mr Jollof engaged in fisticuffs in the cabin.
Both men were dragged out of the plane and handed over to the police and could be facing prosecution for breach of peace.
Trouble started when VDM sighted Mr. Jollof and walked over to him and told him to slap him like he promised he would and truely Mr. Jollof lunged at VDM provoking a full-blown shoving, punching and pushing. VDM claimed in a video that he had been bitten and chewed up by Mr. Jollof.
Before the brawl in the aircraft, VDM and Jollof have been involved in a heated exchange on social media in the past after the VDM dragged the comedian’s wife into their drama, alleging that she sleeps with Yahoo boys.
Meanwhile Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA said it is investigating the viral video of the incident. NCAA Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, posted on his X social media platform.
“If you are kind enough to provide the name of the airline in whose aircraft this incident occurred, and the date, it would help investigations.
