Atalanta new manager Raffaele Palladino said he would only be interested in a fit and ready Ademola Lookman and he aims to reset the struggling Serie A side.
Palladano will be having his first game in charge on Saturday when Atalanta face up against Napoli at the Diego Maradona Stadium.
Asked how he intend to cope with Lookman has had problems with previous coaches Gian Piero Gasperini and Ivan Juric issues, which led to poor performances by Atalanta, Palladino said: “I phoned all the players who were away on international duty and Ademola presented himself very well to me.
“I will evaluate his playing time based on what I see in his training sessions, just like all the others.”
Palladino added that his mission is to present a team that will play with their whole heart and fight for every ball.
“The dogma of this club is to fight for every ball, so I want to see a team ready to go into battle. Atalanta do not deserve their current position in the table, but we’ve got to get back up.”
