Former Miss Universe Nigeria winner Chidimma Adetshina has hinted that she would love to return to Nigeria and participate in the Big Brother Naija Reality TV contest.
Adetshina who is currently in South Africa where she was born to a Nigerian father and Mozambican mother sensationally won the 2024 Most Beautiful Girl Nigeria and represented Nigeria in the Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico, she was the first runner up and was crowned Miss Universe Africa and Oceania as the highest ranked African Contestant of 2024.
This was after she was denied the chance to contest in South Africa as the country’s immigration authorities claimed she was not a bona fide South Africa citizen. Adetshina’s reign as Miss Universe Nigeria ended in August 2025 when a new winner, Onyinyechi Basil, was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2025.
Reflecting on her time in Nigeria she said in a video: “I really enjoyed my stay in Nigeria, and even now, like I said, once I get my documents sorted, I am going.
“You know, Nigeria was really great for me. The eight months I stayed there were amazing. I feel there is more; there are so many opportunities in Nigeria. I also wanted to do Big Brother next year,” she said.
