Nollywood actress and influencer Nkechi Blessing revealed that a lady who took her picture while in the gym and body shamed her is now cooling off in police detention.
Nkechi Blessing said the photos were taken without her consent and she swore and cursed at whoever put her not palatable gym photos on the internet. She noted that she was able to trace the woman and had her arrested.
“I later found the girl that took my picture at the gym and got her arrested, even though the gym hid the information from me.”
“This is my body, this is how I’ve always been. I have a six-year-old son. You get BBL and you dey take picture of my natural body, are you stupid?”
Meanwhile a human rights lawyer Inibehe Effiong writing on X social media slammed Nkechi Blessing and the Nigeria police for the arrest and detention.
“You, a public figure, instigated the police to arrest someone for taking a photo of you in a public place?
“We are so unserious in this country. The police keep disgracing itself.”
