Legendary Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia a.k.a 2Baba after almost a year of living with lover Natasha Osawaru has finally admitted that he needs help.
This is coming after the unhappy life he is living with Natasha came into public knowledge with incident of domestic violence and public altercations exposed. His former manager Kaka Igbokwe gave a low down of what the “African Queen” hit maker has been going through.
And on Wednesday morning 2Baba owned up by sending a Save our Soul message on his Instagram. “Help Me,” he simply wrote.
His cry for help came just a few hours after his brother Hyacinth Idibia, posted on Instagram: “You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant.
“Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow it’s unfolding in real time… Painful reality. Allow us save you. You’ve been suffering for too long. God knows”
However, in a follow post on Facebook 2Baba begged fans to mellow down in their discussion of his problems with his wife Natasha: ““I know what fans can do, I know what people can do. I am perfectly okay. But this is putting Natasha at risk. It’s not fair to anyone,” 2Baba said.
“People will get their issues sorted at home, not today. Please, I beg you. I am perfectly fine. Please, I’m okay,” he added.
In February 2025 while 2Baba was fresh from breaking up with Annie Macaulay and showering Natasha Osawaru with love, his mother Rose Idibia, had cried out for help to save her son, whom she believed had been bewitched to fall hopelessly in love.
“He’s clearly not in his right senses now. I know my son. This is not him.
“Please, the bead you put on his hand and neck, remove them.”
