Afrobeats star Ayodeji Balogun, a.k.a Wizkid, said at his wedding he would love to see his colleague, Asake perform.
He made this known to Asake during their recent appearance on Apple Music radio, alongside DJ Tunez.
Wizkid remarked that he is a great fan of the “Lonely at The Top” crooner with his favourite Asake songs being “Omo Ope” and “Remember,” which is he dying to hear when his big day arrive.
He said, “‘Omo Ope’ made me an Asake fan from the first listen. But my favourite Asake song is “Remember,” I think you have to play that one on my wedding day. It is an amazing record.
“You [Asake] are amazing, you have one of the most special voices from home [Africa] and in the world. I have told you that like a million times and I am saying it again on radio. You are a blessing to African music.”
Wizkid is currently in a romantic relationship with his third baby mama and manager, Japa P.
The couple have three children together, two boys and a girl. Wizkid has not made the date of his wedding known to the public.
