Scene of the crash...police accuse driver of reckless driving.

Kayode Adeniyi, 47, the man behind the wheel of Anthony Joshua’s crashed Lexus SUV has been quizzed by the police and would likely face charges for reckless driving.
Mr. Adeniyi who usually chauffeurs Joshua whenever he was home in Nigeria escape the crash with minor injuries. He was treated and discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. According to polices sources he was questioned for several hours, and he made a statement to what led to the crash that claimed the lives of Joshua’s friends Lateef Ayodele and Cina Gami who died on the spot.
Joshua who was seated behind the driver’s seat also escaped death and was released from hospital on Wednesday.
“The driver was released after treatment for minor injuries and was then taken to the state police headquarters for questioning,” said a police source
“He is in a stable condition and was able to provide us with his version of events that led up to the crash, and we expect a charging decision within the next 48 hours, but the New Year holiday may delay proceedings.
“It is possible he could be in court on Friday but it depends how quickly the process moves and it would be for reckless driving.”
