Iwobi...working for Fulham

10.2.2026

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola said his team will do themselves a world of good if they can beat Fulham in Wednesday’s Premier League contest at the Etihad Stadium.
Guardiola said City must win against an improved Fulham to maintain the pressure on Arsenal who are topping league table with six points.
“The distance is not huge but how Arsenal are doing six points is a lot,” Guardiola said ahead of the game.
“Next game against a team like (Fulham) who every year is getting better and better, so we will see.
“The movements they do…they are really good. The patterns and the quality they have, the composure of the play, the speed they have. Marco (Silva) is one of the top, top, top managers I face.
“Destiny to be one of the top in a few years for sure.”
The two sides clash for the first time since the chaotic 5-4 win for City just months ago at Craven Cottage. This time the two teams meet at the Etihad Stadium, where City have won 44 points from a possible 51 available across their last 17 Premier League home games.
Arsenal leading with 56 points are away to Brentford on Thursday.
