Galatasaray has been praised for relying less on their hitman Victor Osimhen to score goals for them in the Turkey Super League and other contests.
According to pundit Şansal Büyüka, of late Galatasaray have worked together as team unlike previous season they relied on individual brilliances from Osimhen and others.
“In the last 1-2 matches, Galatasaray seemed to have somewhat overcome their dependence on Osimhen. This is an extremely important development for Galatasaray,” Büyüka said, while speaking on Sports Digitale YouTube channel.
“There’s a rapid shift from one man to a team. This will greatly benefit Galatasaray.”
He also offered a cautionary reminder drawn from past experiences: “We’ve seen before that focusing solely on Osimhen causes serious problems.”
Osimhen has been in sensational form this season, scoring 15 goals across 21 appearances in all competitions.
Meanwhile Barcelona are said to have set their sights on signing Osimhen at the end of the season, with Galatasaray ready to cash on the transfer of their star player.
