With only a few hours to Valentine Day, Nigerian music legends Yinka Davis and Sunny Nneji have expressed their readiness to perform in Saturday’s Nigeria Railway Corporation “Naija Fest Love Train.”
Both artists on Friday paid a courtesy call on the NRC managing director Dr. Kayode Opeifa to confirm their participation in the event meant to give Valentine Day celebrations in Nigeria a new meaning.
Dr. Opeifa stated that he was very happy to be in the company of the music legends and was looking forward to the Naija Fest Love Train ride. Also, the O’jez Entertainment Group chairman Joseph Odobeatu who was in the entourage noted that the “Love Train”ride on valentine day was a novel, and it promises to be a fun day for Nigerians on board.
On her path Yinka Davis said she is very eager to be on board and perform some of her melodious songs for lovers and would be lovers on board.
On Saturday the Love Train will take off from the Mobolaji Johnson Train Station in Ebute Meta at about 12.00 for the jolly ride to Ibadan and back to Lagos. There would be on board fashion show, music, drama and dinning.
Speaking on the coming event NRC senior public relations officer Henrietta Eregare said every arrangement has been made to ensure that all on board get their fill of entertainment and fun on Valentine Day.
