Singer Simisola Kosoko a.k.a Simi has told men to help hold into account those who sexually assaulted women.
Simi writing on her X social media platform argued that sexual assault against women is on the rise with a significant number of women have experienced abuse. She stated men not speaking up not helping matters.
“Men should hold other men accountable. Many of you create safe spaces for your friends’ perverted and wicked behaviour,” Simi wrote.
“Almost every woman I know personally has been sexually assaulted at some point in their lives. You can’t think it’s okay to shut people up from speaking up about assault because some people lie.
“Women are terrified to go out. Women in their homes are not safe either. Ask your sisters. Ask your female friends and your girlfriends. Ask your wives. We’re not all crazy. Stop raping women!!”
Simi was responding to an outrage she sparked by saying men who rape women should be castrated.
Simi wrote, “I’m sickkk of this. STOP RAPING WOMEN. They need to castrate rapists and burn them.”

Simi furiously replied: “STFU.” (Shut the f…up…) sparking an outrage.
