Fans of Afrobeats star Davido Adeleke a.k.a Davido in Liberia are eager to see their idol settle his custody dispute with baby mama Sophia Momodu out of court.
According to media mogul and politician Dele Momodu, fans in Liberia have urged him to step in and bring the fierce contest beween the singer and his girlfriend for Davido’s child Imade Adeleke to an end.
Mr. Momodu wrote on his Instagram social media platform on Thursday: “Here in Liberia, @davido is treated as the god of music.
” I’ve been visiting here for over two decades but this visit is different. I came to commiserate with my friend and Sister, former Vice President H.E DR JEWEL HOWARD-TAYLOR on the passing of her only child, CHARLES PHILIP NEILSON TAYLOR JR.
“Since landing here, I have been inundated with messages from fans of David, and ladies who love @thesophiamomodu to bits… One of them is this “fashion designer” @lorine.doe who said I should step in and settle the “quarrels.
“My dear Sister, thanks so much. Nothing to worry about. Everything is going to be alright … We are working behind the scenes. Pls, keep everyone in your prayers…”
Frustrated by the court battle Davido last week indicated that he was ready to let go for the sake of his own sanity and that of his daughter.
He maintained that he loves his daughter and believes she will one day understand his efforts.
