Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is trending on social media after it was claimed that he wrote ‘Wick Man’ one of Drake’s new songs.
Fans were sent into a frenzy when a ‘K. De Bruyne’ was credited for writing the song in Drake’s new album ‘For All the Dogs’ released in October. De Bruyne fueled the rumours by sharing a photo of himself and Drake on his X page saying that Drake needed some assistance.
However, he quickly added: “All jokes aside, it’s not me! Huge fan though.”
A Belgium publication, Le Soir suggested that it could have been Kevin Durant that was being referred to. The NBA star was listed as the executive producer on a separate work, an EP called ‘Scary Hours 3.
De Bruyne is out of action following surgery for a recurring hamstring problem. He played just one game for Man City and that was against Burnley in their first game of the season.
