“Having won our first game, we came here with the hope of maintaining the momentum,” said Emmanuel.
“But against Warri Wolves a club that is tested in the NPFL it was not going to be an easy game.
“In the first half we did our best to deter their attacks. But in the second half the pressure was just too much and we conceded.
“It was not bad outing for us, we are just a club three months old, but we are playing against everything in Nigeria where anything can happen.
“But we have a team and our hopes are high we will keep going and with time we will get all the experience and be at the same competitive level like Warri Wolves.”
He added the club is motivated with the support of the governor and the Anambra State Sports Development Commission under the Chairmanship of Hon Patrick Onyedum Estate.
He said: “We have started well and we will give the team all the support they need to excel in the league.
“The aim is to have a top NPFL team in Anambra and we are working towards achieving that goal.”
