Fuji music star, Igwe Remi Aluko is gearing up to storm the Ebute Meta community with an A list of artists and Fuji legends to unleash his revived ‘Toi Toi’ concert.
The event billed for December 15, 2023, at the O’jez Railway Recreational Centre Ondo Street Ebute Meta is packaged by the O’jez Entertainment group and A3 Media in association with Danpalogo Entertainment.
Artists who have signed up to perform in this celebration of Fuji music include the ‘Paramount King’ of Fuji music Abass Akande Obesere, Pasuma Wonder, Saheed Osupa, Malaika, Small Doctor, Seriki, Atawewe, Taiye Currency, Sanko and Otibiya.
Remi Aluko who grew up in the Ebute Meta area is eagerly waiting to put up a good showing in the event which also attracts top dignitaries from within and outside Lagos, will start by 5.pm and last all night long.
“This is like a homecoming concert for Remi Aluko. He grew up around the Ebute Meta area. His father Aluko is well known in the Ebute Meta area and so he is coming to set the Christmas holiday season rolling for the community.
“A whole lot of dignitaries like MC Olumo will be on hand to support the evening. ”
Also speaking a management staff of the O’jez entertainment group said the venue which used to host Juju music legend King Sunny Ade back in the days is getting set for the epic show.
“We are prepared for the expected crowd and we are also putting everything in order to ensure a smooth gathering.
“It is going to be the first big musical event we are hosting in a long while and so we are not leaving any stone unturned to guarantee safety and security of music fans,” said the O’jez official.
