Ameachi reveals his pick amongst Burna Boy, Wizkid, others

Former River state governor, Rotimi Amaechi said Damini Ogulu a.k.a Burna Boy, is his all time favourite Nigerian artist.
Ameachi, a two tenure minister of transport in the regime of President Muhammadu Buhari said during an Arise TV interview that Burna Boy’s music is a standout in all the Nigerian musical acts.
“In terms of music, I followed all of them. I followed Davido, I followed Wizkid, I followed Tiwa Savage, but Burna Boy. I’m a great fan of Burna Boy because of the kind of music he played, and I listened to all of them, but my greatest music now is Big Baller.”
Big Baller is a song by singer Chinedu Okoli, aka Flavour, released on 24 November 2023 as a lead single on the singer’s album, “African Royalty.”
Mr. Ameachi himself is known for his singing prowess. He and his wife Judith last year released a song based on Psalm 104.
