Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro, said playing against Angola in the quarter-final of the African Cup of Nations will be a tough call and has asked his wards to brace up.
Having brushed aside Cameroon the Super Eagles are being expected to up their game in Friday’s match against the Angolans who beat Namibia 3-0 in their round of 16 match.
“ I think my players know that. We are playing with a fantastic spirit now but we must be focused on the target and train more before the next match,” Peseiro said.
Meanwhile Peseiro is sweating on the fitness of goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali who was injured in the game against Cameroon after he collided with Cameroon midfielder Georges Nkoudou.
“In the next 24 hours we will find out exactly what it is,”
“Though we have Francis Uzoho who is also capable of performing well, I want all my best players to be fit and available,” said Peseiro.
