Fulham have voted Alex Iwobi’s stoppage-time effort Manchester United at Old Trafford goal of the month of February 2024.
Calvin Bassey had put Fulham ahead, but United levelled up through Harry Maguire, but Iwobi popped up and delivered the knockout blow, when tucked the ball pass Andre Onana.
Iwobi beat Bassey, Rodrigo Muniz, Callum Osmand, Lemar Gordon and Georgia Heasman to the votes. He got 57.2 percent of the fan vote, surpassing Rodrigo Muniz’s lob at Burnley, which came in second with 13%..
The Brazilian’s goal against Aston Villa and Callum Osmand’s effort versus Everton U21s claimed 8.5% and 8% respectively.
Iwobi received nominations for Fulham’s Goal of the Month awards in September, November, and December but unfortunately did not secure the accolades.
