Controversy surrounding Ilerioluwa Aloba a.k.a Mohbad’s death continues to swirl around as his dad has been tasked to do DNA test to confirm his parternity of the late musician.
The singer died suddenly in September 2023 in controversial circumstances, which the police is yet to unravel.
Mohbad’s widow Omowunmi has been under pressure from the Joseph Aloba family to do a DNA test for Liam their one-year-old, but she has so far held her ground.
Her sister Karimot Ogunbayo has dropped the gauntlet saying Omowunmi would be ready to submit her son for the test, only if Mohbad’s dad leads the way to the lad to prove he is the real father of Mohbad.
“Before we can conduct DNA on Liam and Mohbad, we have to conduct DNA on Mohbad and his father, Joseph Aloba to be sure of his paternity.
” If we get a positive result then we can now proceed to getting a DNA on Liam and Mohbad,” she said.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has urged Omowunmi not to shy away from doing the test to prove Mohbad is her son’s dad.
“If Liam will inherit the late singer’s estate the family as a legally interested party can ask you honourably or through the court to conduct a DNA before you can be allowed custodian of their son’s properties on behalf of LIAM,” Fabiyi wrote on his Instagram page.
“Anything that will bring clarity, absolve you of any wrongdoing, erase suspicion around you, get justice for Mohbad should interest you, including a DNA TEST.”
