Rapper Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley has made his voice heard in the ongoing DNA controversy surrounding late musician Mohbad’s son Liam Aloba.
Naira Marley, who was initially a suspect in the sudden death of Mohbad last September, but was left off the hook, released a dis video on Instagram insisting that DNA must be done to determine who is the father of the 1-year-old kid.
Mohbad’s widow Omowunmi has been under intense pressure to submit the baby for a DNA test, but so far she has foot-dragged on the matter. A video showing Naira Marley and Omowunmi in the same bed had previously circulated online.
In the dis video, Naira Marley in company of another man rapped “Tani Baba baby (Who’s the baby’s father?) DNA is needed.”
But it seems his opinion on the matter did not sit well with social media users.
@ teeto__olayeni: “Oga you are cancelled and irrelevant. Mtchewwwwwww.”
@remiasher: “Can u imaging? It’s the audacity coming from this guy. Naira should be the last person contributing on this issue but na wunmi fault too…
@chinnel: “Wunmi and Mohbad’s family brought this upon themselves,if they had respected the late artist memory, kept their issue off the media and was more focus on getting justice for him, this fa-iled record label won’t have the guts to release a diss track..”
@mheenarh__ : “Na the family bring the case to this level. All the family issues have now been brought to the public. Everybody is now doing anyhow on the case”.
