A man said to be a lecturer at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, was caught while trying to coerce a female student to sleep with him.
A video circulating online had the man dressed in boxer shorts highly agitated as he was being scolded by his accusers who claimed that the student was married to someone else. The lecturer realising he has been cornered started crying and feeling sorry for his conduct.
“You can see. We have been following the case from day one. We have all the tracks, all the voice notes. This is somebody’s wife. This is a married lady. Somebody’s wife,” the voice said.
The video posted on X by one Chude Nnamdi @chude_ has generated reactions
Some X users expressed dismay at the lecturer’s conduct, the apparent breach of trust and abuse of power.
There has been an outcry about sexual harassment in Nigerian Institution of higher learning and the need to curb the menace. A Dean of Law at the University of Calabar Cyril Ndifor, is currently in court facing charges of sexual assault and misconduct after been accused by female students of fragrant sexual harassment.
