Jamal Musiala said he is proud of his Nigerians roots even though he is representing Germany in his international football career.
The Bayern Munich youngster was born of a Nigerian father and German mother, but grew up in England. He played for English youth teams before making up his mind to play for Germany.
Speaking on Serge Ibaka’s Youtube popular food show ‘How hungry are you?‘ Musiala said:“I’ve never been to Africa before even though I always wanted to but we’ve never really had the time to go over there.
“My dad is from Nigeria and he always tells me about the culture and everything about African foods. My dad made fufu while I was growing up back in England; he made this dish (fufu) every other day.”
On which country he admired most he added: “Out of respect, I can’t answer that. I have respect for both. I love Nigeria and Germany.”
