More dirt from the custody battle between David Adeleke a.k.a Davido and his babymama Sophia Momodu are coming to light.
In her 102-paragraph court affidavit Sophia Momodu alleged that Davido used their daughter for publicity stunt to fool the public he was a father that cares a lot.  She stated that Davido bought an ‘unserviceable’ Range Rover for Imade their daughter just to boost his image.
“The car kept breaking down,” Sophia Momodu stated
“Most times, the car was parked at the mechanic’s place for repairs rather than being used for our daughter’s mobilization, thereby putting I and our daughter at great risk during its frequent breakdowns on major highways.”
On his own part Davido claimed that he has never been in love with Sophia Momodu and was only hoping that a DNA test could prove he was not the father of the kid, but it happened that it was confirmed that he sired the nine-year-old kid.
“When the second trimester of Sophia’s pregnancy was closing, she tortuously announced to me that she was in the family way,” Davido wrote on Instagram.
“My mind was bemused, and so was my soul confused. But I quickly realized that nothing more could be done to alter my status as a father-to-be.
“I knew that I was not ready to be a dad. Still, I adjusted myself to the realities of my new situation and the consequences of my past personal indiscretions.
“I made the determination that I was going to be a good dad. I also reasoned that my blunder is not enough pretext to make me a husband.
“I was just 21. And so, I decided to be a responsible dad without being husband to the mother of my baby. I never was in love with Sophia neither was marriage ever in the offing.
“My compassion, ignorance, naivety and poor judgment had combined to make me a victim to a much older lady with super cunning sense that was mixed with a vicious and diabolical nature. I stand accused but calmly accepted my responsibility for the sad misadventure that caused me to be a seatmate with Sophia on a plane that was flying nowhere,” he said.
