Victor Osimhen might be spending another season with Napoli if reports in France by L’Equipe saying that Paris St Germain have cooled off their interest in the player are accurate.
Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda, was in Paris last Monday to wrap up talks for personal terms, but PSG’s plans to include players Gonçalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani in the player plus cash offer to Napoli has not worked out. Ramos and Muani are not ready to leave the club, while PSG is not keen to pay the €130m clause on Osimhen’s contract.
Napoli and Osimhen have agreed to part company, however no club is interested in making deal for the Super Eagles star, he may now have a sit down with Antonio Conte who wants Romelu Lukaku with him at the Diego Maradona Stadium.
Perhaps Chelsea could return for the Osimhen as they would be looking to swap Lukaku if Napoli reduces their asking price.
Osimhen is still training with Napoli in preseason, but Conte did not play him their two friendly games so far.
