Famous US rapper Nicki Minaj said she has a lot of respect and admiration for Nigerian Afrobeats star, Ayodele Balogun a.k.a Wizkid.
Minaj dubbed the ‘Queen of Rap’ who was speaking during a recent chat on StationHead, said Wizkid was a very smart and cool person.
“He [Wizkid] is a very very cool chill guy. He’s really that guy, very smart. I have much love and respect for him.”
She disclosed that she met Wizkid in 2018 while working on her album ‘Queen’ in a studio in Queens, New York.

Meanwhile, in the US there are hints Nicki Minaj would be collaborating with K-Pop idol Lisa of BLACKPINK for her debut solo release.
As per the rumor, the BLACKPINK member will soon release her debut solo album with four songs, among which two have already been released, indicating ROCKSTAR and New Woman. Nicki Minaj will feature on the 4th single of this album.
On many occasions, the K-pop idol has expressed her desire to collaborate with the Anaconda singer, as she looks up to her as an inspiration. A few years back, she even performed Nicki’s Swalla on stage.
