Former US President Donald Trump was totally dominated by Kamala Harris in Tuesday night’s presidential debate.
And as if that was not enough pop megastar Taylor Swift, threw her weight behind Trump’s Democratic Party challenger to compound a nightmare scenario for the Republican hopeful.
Shortly after the debate ended, Taylor Swift announced that she is endorsing Harris in a lengthy Instagram post calling out Trump and his campaign for circulating AI-generated images suggesting she supported the former president.
“Well, I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better,” Trump said during a Wednesday morning call into Fox News.
“I was not a Taylor Swift fan. She’s a very liberal person, she seems to always endorse a Democrat — and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.”
Harris who picked up the Democratic ticket after President Joe Biden dropped out in July, had Trump on the defensive through out the debate. The incumbent US Vice President baited Trump with his past misdeeds and utterances and he fell for it. Oftentimes he went off the rails and failed to give answers to questions thrown at him by the moderators.
