The House of Reps Monday began investigations into allegations of bribery offered to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Nigeria Correctional Services, but the individual in the centre of the storm Idris Okuneye failed to show up at the hearing.
The House of Reps Committee had invited Bobrisky and Martins Otse, a.k.a VeryDarkMan, to appear before it, but cross dresser Bobrisky failed to show up in person, electing to have his lawyers to speak for him.
Based on this VeryDarkMan stated that he would not speak any further until Bobrisky whose voice note raised the allegations suggesting that he bribed the EFCC to drop a money laundering case against him with the payment of N15m and also another payment to the NSC to avoiding doing time at the Kirikiri prison for naira abuse sentence.
Officials of the EFCC and the NSC were present at the Committees on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions hearing.
“I don’t know why I will be here and the person who made these allegations is not here,” VDM dressed in all white with hand gloves to match said.
“Bobrisky said in the voice note that there is a godfather. Maybe the godfather told him not to come. He has disrespected this committee by not coming here.
“If Bobrisky is not here, I will not say anything. If I say anything, let me die,” he said.”
VeryDarkman’s lawyer Deji Adeyanju said it was disdainful that Bobrisky did not make any appearance.
Counsel to Bobrisky told the committee that his client was having health challenges. He was however told to present documents to buttress his submission.
