Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen top striker Victor Boniface is lucky to be alive after being involved in a car-crash Saturday night in German.
Boniface had scored the winning goal in Bayer Leverkusen’s 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in a Bundesliga tie Saturday afternoon but later in the evening he was almost losing his life.
““God is the greatest, God say my time never reach,” Boniface posted on his Instagram page a video of the crash site. He did not give details of how it happened. But his hands could be seen dripping blood in the video. He was later treated for minor injuries in the hospital.
The car was significantly damage.
Bayer Leverkusen revealed that he was fine and only sustained an injury to his hands. “He is fine. Boniface only had two minor injuries to his hand,” Bayer Leverkusen stated.
