Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has predicted more economic woes for Nigerians in 2025 and the country faces an imminent collapse.
According to a press release signed by Primate Ayodele’s media aide Osho Oluwatosin, prices of good will escalate, while there would be an increase in taxation and hike in electricity and telecom tariffs.
“The fact remains that from now till February, things will be harder than before. What is the government doing?” Ayodele questioned, expressing concern over the government’s inaction amid rising economic confusion.
He warned that “the Nigerian system will collapse” if corrective measures are not implemented soon.
“By next year, there will be an increase in electricity and telecommunication tariffs,” he added, underscoring the government’s failure to address economic issues.
“The rich will start becoming scared to move around because people will be angry, the situation we will meet ourselves will not be palatable.”
