Grammy Awards winning rapper Faheem Rashad Najm a.k.a T-Pain said he does not know why Nigerians keep mentioning his name in their country.
But according to him, this has helped boost his career and even had a street named after in his native Tallahassee, Georgia USA.
“My career has been on the rise since Nigerians started talking about me on social media. I’m not sure why exactly they’re discussing me, but I assume one of my songs must have gained popularity there,” said the Tallahassee Pain.
“Overall, this attention is greatly beneficial. I even got a street named after me – a monumental milestone for my legacy. Thank you, Nigeria, for the love, T-Pain. I’ve got new bangers coming for y’all!”
Nigerians have used the rapper’s name to describe the hardships unleashed on them by the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu.
