Nigeria music diva Yemi Alade has accused Cool FM and Clout Africa for blacklisting her music.
Yemi Alade who posted on her X social media page said both platforms gave her a cold shoulder because she failed to turn up for their event she was invited to perform. According to her for over one year, her music is not on their playlist even as she apologised for missing their event.
“My God, BIG PASS YOUR WHOLE station @cloutafrica @CoolFMNigeria , keep on forming gate keepers and taking my songs down. Na God be be my label and management; we go meet for front. Fake people wey dey feel like small gods,” she wrote.
“Me, I no dey find trouble O. But @CoolFMNigeria and @cloutafrica with their Ogas that like operation ….. life is a marathon, not a sprint. Shine your eyes ”.
“Una dey carry person for mind …. for 1 year @cloutafrica and @CoolFMNigeria shameful, very shameless.
“Take down my whole catalog from your stations @CoolFMNigeria and @cloutafrica …. God go still give me food. You’re beefing an artist for 1 full year, over your event. I didn’t go, too. I apologized and even called your oga him dey form oga no even reply my text”.
“Dem dey carry beef since last year December 2023 …… @cloutafrica and @CoolFMNigeria till December 2024 …… God keep us alive hold on that beef abeg. FAKE FAKE FAKE PEOPLE. BADBELLE IS ALLOWED.”
In July, Alade released ‘Rebel Queen,’ her seventh studio album. Her other projects include ‘King of Queen’, ‘Mama Africa’, ‘Black Magic’, ‘Woman of Steel’, and ‘Empress’.
