Afrobeats singers David Adeleke a.k.a Davido and Ayodele Balogun a.k.a Wizkid are not letting up in their rivalry.
Davido took to his X social media page to celebrate the fact that he still remains tops in the Nigeria top 16 Spotify Nigeria songs chart for two consecutive days, despite Wizkid’s release of “Morayo.”
Though “Morayo” made some impact, it failed to dislodge Davido from the top spot with songs from his “Timeless” album still holding sway. The Data Dash a music monitoring platform wrote via X: “@davido remains the only artist to occupy the Top 16 spots on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs Chart for 2 consecutive days, with all new songs from his album ‘Timeless’.”

‘Timeless’ has solidified Davido’s position as one of Africa’s leading music icons, further proving his ability to deliver hits that resonate globally.
