Following the backlash received by David Adeleke a.k.a Davido in his recent outburst about how broken the Nigeria state was, people in entertainment have backed the “Unavailable” crooner.
Davido had advised Nigerians and African Americans thinking about relocating to Nigeria to think twice because of the economic hardship currently crippling the country. Acolytes of the ruling All-Progressive Congress described Davido as unpatriotic following his remarks.
Rapper Michael Ugochukwu Stephens a.k.a Ruggedman, said the government should address the issue.
“Ok Davido has said what he said, moving forward the government should fix Nigeria so nobody will say such again,” Ruggedman wrote on his X page.
“All this barking all over the place is not fixing the nation. The hardship is too much.”
Taking to his Instagram Paul O added: “Please, you all should leave Davido alone, mad people. Davido spoke the truth. Nigeria’s current economic state is so bad.
“With global companies leaving and local businesses facing significant losses, we face challenges. Let’s acknowledge the reality and work towards a better future. God bless Nigeria.”
