Afrobeats super star David Adeleke, a.k.a has claimed that cannabis, popularly called weed, is not a hard drug.
While speaking on the Morning Hustle’ podcast to discuss his foundation’s planned donation to orphanages and fight against drug abuse, he admitted smoking weed
He said, “This year, I’m donating to the fight against drug abuse among youths. I don’t count weed as a hard drug. Some people are saying I smoke weed but I don’t count weed as a drug.
“A lot of people have been going through a lot recently. Drug addiction is becoming rampant. So I want to donate to that cause to help them quit.”
Meanwhile, Davido has shared how his father, Adedeji Adeleke, pushed him to have faith in God.
The singer explained that his father’s lessons about having faith in God keep him motivated in the face of challenges.
Davido spoke about his upbringing in a Christian home and the impact of his father’s religious lessons on his life.
According to him, he has been able to overcome difficult times because his dad taught him to never question God.
