Ademola Lookman may be playing his last season in the Italian Serie A as he is looking to move back to England where Arsenal are showing big interest.
According to Give Me Sport reports, Arsenal are keen to make a move for Lookman and the Super Eagles star is open to the move only if the Gunners can match the €50m price tag Atalanta have slammed on the player. Other Premier League clubs linked to the player include Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle.
Lookman’s contract will expire in 2026 and Atalanta are ready to cash in the summer since they have ruled out any deal in the January window for the player who is crucial to their campaign in the 2025 season they are chasing the Serie A title and possibly the Champions League. He has scored 10 goals and made five assists in all competitions so far and has more goal contributions – goals and assists – than any other Serie A player in all competitions this calendar year.
Lookman has emerged as one of Europe’s most admired players in 2024, scoring a legendary hattrick for Atalanta in the 3-0 Europa League final victory over Bayer Leverkusen.
