Former Manchester United midfield great Roy Keene has suggested that striker Marcus Rashford move on after he was snubbed by Ruben Amorim in Sunday’s Manchester derby.
United without their long time striker beat City 2-1 with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo. The talking point before and after the game was Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho’s dropping.
Reacting to the snub by coach Amorim, Keene said:
“A move for Marcus [Rashford] would suit the player – a new challenge for him.
“He’s been there a long time. When you’re at a big club and your attitude is not right – and it hasn’t been great recently – sometimes it’s good to part ways.”
