American singer Chloe Bailey has refused to be drawn into conversations about her relationship with Afrobeats super star Damini Ogulu a.k.a Burna Boy.
Bailey was a guest of Burna Boy during the Christmas holiday, and they were seen frequenting Lagos night clubs and other places of interest, sparking rumours of a relationship. But Bailey noted that all she cared about was the good time she had in Nigeria.
“Nigeria was so beautiful. I had the best time. I ate some good food. I ate pepper soup. I ate some spicy chicken. It was really good. At the nightlife? It was so good. There were so many lights,” Bailey said in a recent interview on the Breakfast Club podcast, ahead of the 2025 NAACP Awards.
“I am a grown woman. I had a great time in Nigeria. He is a grown man just like I am a grown woman
“It is my life. It is what I signed up for. I can only expect it. It is just about how I handle it and myself. I do not think it should ever be pissing towards people asking me.”
