Davido and Chioma

Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed his plans to release his fifth studio album, “5ive”, scheduled to drop in March 2025.
This album marks a significant return for Davido, following the immense success of his previous albums, “A Better Time” (2020) and “Timeless” (2023).
The album’s second single, “Funds”, featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, has already generated significant buzz.
The track’s innovative sound, which samples Brenda Fassie’s iconic 1997 hit “Vuli Ndlela”, showcases Davido’s ability to blend traditional African music with contemporary Afrobeat energy.
Meanwhile the “Unavailable” crooner said after marrying Chioma Rowland he is not available for making any baby mama again.
“Before she said ‘I do’ publicly to me in the eyes of God and man, I made Chioma understand that I will never have any other child outside again if we get married and become one.
“One day, before she served me one of her finest sumptuous meals, she wore a mild smile like Queen Esther and called my name in her Igbo way, which burst my head! She said, Davim I truly love you and will be glad to spend the rest of my life until the next with you, but my problem is fear. The fear of you having too many children outside our marriage!”
“See I have no problem with you being Davido, the king of 30BG as that is your charm and who you are. I know you are an artiste and it’s normal for most women to want you and somehow as a man, you will pierce some of them.
“But my fear is you; you not using condoms to protect yourself and the family. My fear of you having another child outside our loving home, I cannot stand the shame, and it will break me.”
