Nigeria’s Afrobeat star Devine Ikubor a.k.a Rema is set to embark on his world tour beginning April 11 in Edmonton, Canada and ending June 28 in Paris, France.
The tour would also see him in New York City’s Madison Sqaure Garden, which fellow artists Burna Boy, Davido and Wizkid have graced before. Tickets for the tour are expected to go on sale as from February 13.
Ahead of the tour Rema dropped his new single “Baby (Is It A Crime)” last week. It is a track from his second studio album, Heis.
At the 67th Grammys on Feb. 2, Heis was nominated for Best Global Album. Rolling Stone named it the 11th best album of 2024 and the single “Ozeba,” the second-best Afropop song of the year after Tems’ “Love Me, Jeje.”
